Disability Pride vs. Disability Fix A moderated panel discussion SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 28 3:00 p.m. via Zoom Free and open to the community

Disability Pride vs. Disability Fix

A panel discussion on living with a disability, and how the availability of a “cure” is not always the obvious answer. Featuring NYLPI Senior Social Worker Michelle Kraus.

SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 28

3:00 p.m.

via Zoom
Free and open to the community
The discussion will cover a wide range of thought-provoking topics including:

What is a cure and what is not?

How is disability identity affected by a cure?

Who is the cure meant to help? (The answer is usually not the person with disability)

There will be time at the end for questions to be asked of the panelists.
Meet the Panelists:

Michelle Kraus
