NYLPI, alongside Transportation Alternatives, and Transform Don’t Trash NYC, have released More Dangerous Than Ever, a new report showing that crashes – including fatal crashes – involving private sanitation trucks have doubled. The City’s transition toward a zoned commercial waste system can and must improve safety in the industry.
